In CrossFit, our aim is Virtuosity of Movement: “Performing the common uncommonly well.” We all enjoy and feel “badass” when we perform some of the complicated gymnastics or olympic weightlifting moves, and sometimes we don’t spend enough time focused on mastering the common, the fundamentals. Mastering these “easy” movements is critical towards your success in the more complex CrossFit movements. So today’s WOD is not going to be about how fast you can finish, or how many reps you can squeeze in, or how heavy a load you can lift, today’s WOD is about QUALITY. We are going to spend some time mastering some fundamental movements and striving to achieve CrossFit’s aim of “performing the common uncommonly well.”
